Taylor Swift and the Kardashian- West feud continues

Taylor Swift has responded to Kim Kardashian‘s allegations on her cover of GQ magazine that the singer was aware of Kanye West‘s infamous line ‘I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x/Why? I made that b*tch famous’ before the song was released.
Swift in a newly released statement, claims ‘much of what Kim is saying is incorrect‘ as she only spoke once with the rapper and never approved of derogatory remarks on the song.

‘Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect,’ the statement read in part.

‘Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place.’

Pleading to be left alone by the couple, Swift’s statement further claimed she was never aware that the conversation with Kanye was recorded, though Kim had claimed the singer wants the recording destroyed.
‘Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone,’ it concluded.

Nigerian comedienne,Chigurl has revealed via an Instagram post that she is currently battling with back pain.

 

She wrote on instagram ‘When slipped disc will not allow u sleep like a normal person…back brace, 2 reg pillows. 4 medical pillows and 1 body pillow just to sleep,’ she shared along with a photo of medical pillows and braces she uses to assuage the pain.

.....MY FAIRY TALE-The Quarrel

After dinner, (which i could barely eat because my mind kept wandering to the kiss), Obi suggested we go see a movie, how was i to tell him that, seeing a movie was the last thing on my mind.
I decided silence was the best approach and so we went to the movies.
It was crowded as is the case on Friday Nights, Obi selected an action flick and we got popcorn and drinks and sat down to our movie.
He had chosen seats in the far corner of the cinema,As we watched, and in the cover of darkness, he put his arm around me and i snuggled into the comfort of his embrace.
He whispered, "Are you cold?", i nodded and he drew me in closer.
Then we ate our pop-corns and watched in silence, he drew me in a little closer and i looked up slowly, and he kissed me again, not minding that there was a crowd.

This kiss like the one before was deep and sensual, it held a lot of promise of things to come, 
"Omg, i was falling for this man", i thought to myself.
He lifted his head slowly and i opened my eyes to meet his smile, "he asked are you warm enough now?"
Again i nodded for fear that my words or voice would give me away.
After the movie, we walked out holding hands, was i in-love with this man? had i forgotten my ex Richard already?, my mind mused, as if from a bad dream i looked up and i saw Richard.

"Hi Nneka"he said, without acknowledging my partner, i replied "i am great Richard, how have you been?" I asked, we continued an easy conversation and for a second his power over me took hold and i had forgotten to introduce Obi.
I had not also noticed that Obi had walked away and was slowly striding to his car, when i did i said my goodbye to Richard and ran after Obi,

He had gotten into the car and  was obviously fuming.
"Who was that?" he asked, "my ex" i replied, "and you didn't think it was necessary to introduce us, you insulted me by standing there and talking to him when i was right there"he said.
'I am sorry it skipped my mind" i responded.

He replied, "oh, i see, so i am so forgettable, eh Nne?.
 "Why had i said that?" i thought, "No Obi, i just felt it wasn't necessary"
Without saying another word he turned on the ignition and drove.

OJB Jezreel is dead!

Babatunde Okungbowa a.k.a OJB Jezreel is dead.The veteran music producer was born on June 1966. For the prolific producer, music started back in 1986. The artiste started making beats in back room studios, first in his Surulere neighborhood and later in other parts of the city.

The he singer who had a Kidney failure and transplant back in July 2013 passed today, June 14, 2016.

The music maestro’s kidney failed last week and his family had to keep him on N35, 000 dialysis daily to overcome the relapse.

Sadly, the late crooner  passed on a month to his 50th birthday and his body has been deposited in a morgue at Isolo General Hospital.

Legally married to three wives, Mabel , June ‘Ama’ and Korede, OJB left eight children behind after a long battle with Kidney disease.

All three ladies have a deep background in music and entertainment. OJB has 8 kids, three kids with his first wife Mabel, three with his second, Ama and two with his third, Korede. 

May his soul rest in peace.

.....MY FAIRY TALE-The First Kiss -5

I walked into his apartment, and the first thing that came to mind was OCD,(Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder),I was impressed, he was tidy and not just in the average sense.
He led me into the living room.

"Do you want anything to drink?", he asked,

"NO" , i replied,

"I want to take you out this evening Nne if you are not too tired?", he asked,"That's OK, i replied, thankful that i had packed the right outfit.

He led me to his room, and i was awed at the sheer beauty of it and the masculine feel in every detail, i felt like i was home which was strange, he put my bag in the wardrobe and showed me around.
After which he left and allowed me time to have a bath and change.

He came back moments later already dressed in a pair of dark blur denim and a t-shirt, i looked at my dress and suddenly felt overdressed, Oh well, i am a lady after all! i thought to myself, 

"You look beautiful Nne", he said,

"Thank you Obi",he moved closer and hugged me, i could see the appreciation in his eyes, even in my heels i still felt small,for a 5Ft7" lady in heels that was saying a lot for his height.

He hugged me very close and i could feel both our hearts racing, slowly he kissed me, now this wasn't the perfunctory kiss i was used to, it was a deep slow kiss, the type that said, you are mine.
I melted, i didn't feel like going out anymore, he could take me here and now, and he knew it.

Obi didn't take advantage, he raised his head slowly and reluctantly, my eyes where closed throughout this experience, 'Nneka, the things you do to me',he said in a whisper,our foreheads still touching, he hadn't let me go.
Slowly i opened my eyes and i found that his eyes where still shut, different expressions played over his face, i coughed and he raised his head, i said "shall we?".

"Yes, Yes",we headed out of the room and into the car, we talked and laughed about our day and the events of the day, we got to the restaurant, he parked and got down, and opened the door for me, i felt like a lady which i was.

As we walked in,he held my hand, he whispered to me and i chuckled, "Obizille, how far?" his friend shouted from a distance, "Ah, Tony, how you dey brother?", he replied, they shook and he introduced us, "Oh, so this is Nneka, the lady you wont shut up about" Tony replied,i smiled and we exchanged pleasantries, they shook hands again and Tony left, Obi still hadn't let go of my hand, his pride in me was obvious, i felt like i belonged to him .

Obi led me into the restaurant and  we sat down to a quiet dinner, i couldn't stop smiling at this gentleman.

I didn't know if Obi Knew i had seen him, but i was upset that i was kept waiting longer than expected ( was i over reacting? maybe.But i had already set the ball rolling and i didn't know how to stop it).
Again he honked and as if in a trance he overtook me, OK fine, his F1 (Formula1) status had been firmly established.
Slowly, i acknowledged defeat and brought my car to a halt at the side of the road, he noticed this and did the same in front of mine.

He got out of the car,Why did he have to be so sexy i wondered,he came to my window and tapped gently on it,while i was rolling down my glass, i was also trying to grasp what was left my suppose anger.

He said, "Nne where are you rushing to, i got to your office when i saw you pull out,"

"Oh really, i thought we cancelled, since it was past the time, i didn't see you though," Lying with the two sides of my mouth,i replied.

 He shook his head, more in disbelief than anything else, 

"well, on my way, i stopped to buy you pizza, that's why i ran later than expected".

Suddenly, i felt small and silly, i had just behaved like the school girl i always claimed not to be, i bowed my head slightly as i was at a loss for what to say and prayed that the ground will open and swallow me.
He chuckled and smiled, i looked up and OMG!, his gap-tooth was sexy for days, what could i say?, 

"Can we go now?" he asked.

I said in the smallest voice i could muster,"OK, lead the way".

"Nne m,you are just a woman" he said

He walked back to his car, turned on the ignition got back on the road, i followed behind him like a helpless puppy.

After driving through the Friday madness in Lagos, we finally got to our destination.
We had both parked our cars he carried my weekend bag and led me to the door, at this point

he said,  "Nne welcome home",

  Suddenly the butterflies in my stomach had names,i was apprehensive.

 

MTV Base VJ Stephanie Coker Quits After 4 Years

MTV Base Africa Nigerian VeeJay and presenter, Stephanie Coker has announced on instagram that she is quitting the station after serving for four years, now we are not certain if she is quitting Veejay-ing altogether.

‘’Today has been an emotional day. Looking back on the last 4 amazing years as a VJ on MTV Base, I still remember walking through the doors not being able to contain the excitement that my little dream of working with such a world renowned platform came true (my mum probably checked up on me a million times ).
From working with a fantastic team, travelling the globe interviewing some of the most talented acts and keeping you all entertained on the carpet It’s been nothing short of an exciting, challenging and fulfilling experience that I’m most grateful for.
However today, I wanted to share with you first that I’ve officially left MTV and embarking on another exciting chapter. Am I nervous? Hell yes, but it’s time for the next level. It’s always hard to say goodbye but these memories will forever live in my heart,’’ she said.
